Objectives
At the conclusion of this educational activity, the participant will be able to:
1. Educate how to evaluate the child with possible food sensitivities 2. Recognize, diagnose, and treat gastrointestinal diseases that are related to food sensitivies, ie. Celiac disease, and Eosinophilic Gastrointestinal disorders. 3. Review medical nutrition therapy for GI disorders - science evidenced base therapy vs. nutrition hype and fads 4. Discussion of the latest AAP feeding guidelines for transitioning infants which includes changes in recommendations for when to introduce what was previously considered high allergy foods
Target Audience
Members and Guests of the Palm Beach County Pediatric Society, Pediatric Dentists, Pediatric Sub-specialists, primary care physicians, physician assistants, Nurse Practitioners and any healthcare provider who treats pediatric patients.
